ACA Food Drive Special to support Alameda County Food Bank

Our Summer Food Drive is back!

For many children who rely on school lunch programs, summer vacation can mean the end to their only nutritious meal of the day. Throughout June & July we will be hosting a food drive for the Alameda County Community Food Bank.

From June 1st until July 31st if you donate TWO food items to our food barrel (all proceeds go to Alameda County Community Food Bank), you can receive a $5 discount on what you normally pay for your acupuncture treatment!

Please keep in mind that we cannot accept donations of food in glass jars, perishable food, expired food, frozen food, fresh produce, soda, baby food or formula, and any non-food items.

Not sure what to donate? Here's a helpful list:   Most Needed Items

Bike to your acupuncture appointment and receive a discounted treatment!

It's National Bike Month and we are offering $5 off acupuncture treatments for return patients who ride their bike to their acupuncture appointment for the month of May. If you are a new patient, we will waive our first time $10 paperwork fee. Just show us your helmet!

Please know that this month, you can also get the same discount if you are a member of Bike Walk Alameda or Bike East Bay.* Just show us your membership card!

Why do we support biking as transportation?

Alameda Community Acupuncture believes in promoting a healthy, equitable, sustainable community not just in the clinic, but outside the clinic as well. Bike transportation is not only a great way to integrate exercise into our daily lives, it can also be part of the solution towards a more sustainable community and planet.

*We support organizations like Bike Walk Alameda, and Bike East Bay because of the great work they do in advocating for safer cycling and walking in our communities.
