(New!) Qigong Healing/Deep Tissue Acupressure for Back Pain

Qigong Healing is an energy-based approach to health and wellness that uses contact touch as well as non-contact touch to help restore harmony and balance in the human energy system. While holding a compassionate intention for the receiver’s well-being, the Qigong practitioner uses gentle touch to listen to the receiver’s body, guide energy along meridian channels, and nourish the organs. Qigong Healing sessions are designed to facilitate relaxation, which opens the energy field for the body’s own healing response to ignite.

Prices for our individualized healing sessions:

Qigong Healing $30/30 minutes

Deep Tissue Acupressure for Back Pain $60/30 minutes

Practitioner: Ana Simono

By appointments only.

Qigong & Meditation Classes

Mondays (until end of June 2018): 7:30-9pm (Qigong and Meditation with Steve)

Thursdays: 8am-9am (Qigong Only with Lita)

Fridays: 7:30-9pm (Qigong and Meditation with Nicole)

We are a friendly group of people dedicated to cultivating wellness, vitality, and spiritual fulfillment. We offer classes in Qigong (pronounced "chee-kung"), Tai Chi, and Meditation. The focus of each class Qigong class is on accessing the Qigong State of Presence in which our movement, breath and mind harmonize. The style of Tai Chi that we practice is Roger Jahnke's Tai Chi Easy, a simple 5-movement form that can be done sitting, standing, or walking. The kind of Meditation we teach is a simple concentration practice called zazen. When you notice your attention has wandered off, which it inevitably will, you simply return your attention to your breath without self-judgment or self-criticism. Fundamentally, this is a practice of being present to the fullness of your experience in this very moment. The practice doesn't require you to believe in anything.
Tea is served during the mid-class break. This class is for beginning and intermediate students, for all ages and abilities. Please wear loose and comfortably fitting clothing that you can move and stretch in. The class is offered on a donation basis (sliding scale $5-20 with a recommended donation of $10 per class). No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please place your cash or check donation into the dropbox behind the door.
Let's cultivate and circulate our qi together!

Registration/Schedule - We are limiting the practice group size to 20 people. Occasionally, class may be cancelled due to vacation, holiday, illness. Please go to the Meetup page to get the most up-to-date schedule:

If you join the meetup group, you can register for each class. You will also be notified by email whenever we have classes, special events, or class cancellations.
