We've been getting some questions about our take on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We are definitely taking proactive steps to minimize the spread of infection in our community, while maintaining accessibility and affordability. Now is a good time to review what we can all do to reduce viral transmission of any kind, and to keep our community healthy.
We appreciate everyone's participation and understanding.
If You are Sick, Please Stay Home
We ask that you stay home if you have a fever, are in a contagious stage of a cold/flu, or are coughing or sneezing significantly, or exhibit symptoms of acute respiratory illness. The main symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, cough (especially dry cough), shortness of breath, and occasionally, vomiting and diarrhea. If you experience these symptoms, please contact your primary care provider.
If you had a fever, please wait till you are fever-free for at least 48 hours to schedule an appointment. We do not charge a no-show/late cancellation fee for appointments cancelled because of illness--just please give us a heads up.
*If you have been caring for someone who has COVID-19, we also ask that you wait to schedule your appointment after everyone is recovered*
Still not sure if you should come in? Please give us a call: 510-255-0880
